Sign us up for this one! Stanford University is now offering an awesome opportunity to improve your kids’ (and maybe even your own) relationship with math. Pairing brain research with the latest evidence based-information on the best ways to approach, engage with and learn math most effectively, the course is designed to get people of all ages better equipped to succeed with numbers, no matter how bad their past experiences were.
It’s a six-part course in which kids can progress at their own pace and includes videos featuring math in action — in dance, juggling, snowflakes, soccer and many other applications.
Prerequisites? There are none.
Oh and did we mention it’s entirely free? (Translation: You have no excuse not to give it a try.)
Courses end October 1, 2015. Read more and register here.
