Give kids the space, time and most of all, options, to develop their own tastes, interests and curiosity when it comes to savoring reading time. Then step aside.
According to the article, there’s only one sure-fire way to induce a love of books, and that’s to let kids select their own and go from there. And, yes, it’s also key to create a time each day when reading can happen.
