The folks over at Tinybop have decided to throw their hat in the ring and join the creator movement with their latest hit game: The Robot Factory.
The Robot Factory is completely open-ended. There is no beginning or end — the only task is to create whatever type of robot you can think of. There are a lot more parts to choose from than expected, so some patience is required to test things out and go through the build process. Kids younger than 4 might not enjoy this as much as older kids if they are short on patience.
Once your robot is created, just swipe them to the right to drop them into the testing environment. When in the environment, the robot can slash, pick, and hop around obstacles — just enough resistance to test out all the cool features created. Be careful, though. Once your robot runs out of battery, it’s back to the factory to reboot or make another creation.
The better robot you build, the longer it will be able to last in the testing environment, so choose wisely!
Collect all of your creations in a showroom, and take them out at anytime to play with them again!
The most learning normally happens when kids are given permission to be curious — so go crazy building as many robots as you can dream up and HAVE FUN! $3.99 at iTunes.
